My friends and I left our accommodation at Get Guest House in Hat Yai City Center in the morning. We visited some beautiful places after had breakfast at a local street food stall. We had dishes which local Thai people usually have in the morning. All was delicious and cheap.
Uncle Pee Boon told us that the floating market will be the last place to visit on our day tour. That was the reason why we spent an evening at Klong Hae Floating Market Hat Yai Thailand. He said the sellers opens their stalls mostly in the afternoon until evening.
We agreed with Uncle’s proposal. On the other hands, we was curious how big the river is. Arrived at the complex, Uncle parked his tuk-tuk at the parking are which is like 5 minutes walk to the market. There were a big crowd of visitor when we arrived because of dancing performance by a university’s students.
There were a lot of Thai food offered by the seller. Most stalls on the river sold food and beverage. They were varies, served in unique way and definitely all were delicious. I loved their young coconut, fresh and sweet.
In addition to this floating market, there were an area occupied with food and souvenir sellers. I loved their fresh cooked seafood. Do not forget to try the Thai specialty which is mango and sticky rice. It is a must have food when you are in Thailand. It was easy to get halal food in this area if you do not eat pork.
